Announcements for the week of April 4th
Written on April 5, 2006
Sunday April 9th:
Join us for worship this Sunday at 5:00 Karl McDaniel will be preaching.  After the service (at 7:30) we will be showing the Invisible Children. (see below) ALSO, this is the LAST Sunday for JAR WARS so pull up the couch cushions, dig in your pockets, and bring in all of that extra cash you’ve been holding back on us…(Hey, it goes to a good cause!)
Â
Invisible Children: THIS Sunday!
Your very own “announcement girl†viewed this film in January and had her heart broken over the thousands of children in Uganda who are fleeing their homes and sleeping in the streets to avoid being abducted as child soldiers…Afterwards, she came to Canada, ordered a copy, and is begging to show it to YOU! Learn how you can help with what the U.N. has deemed “the greatest emergency in the world today involving children.â€
The screening will start at 7:30 pm and will last about an hour.
I’d personally like to challenge you to come with a donation (similar to what you would pay to view a movie) which will be taken up afterwards to support the programs. We will also have information on how to sign up for the “Global Night Commuteâ€
For more information check out: www.invisiblechildren.com or email Christen@impactchurch.ca
