Who We Are (hint: we’re not exactly your typical church)

Impact is a church, but maybe not like one you’ve ever experienced before.  Impact is simple.  We aren’t characterized by cathedrals, robes, steeples, committees, hymn books or rituals.  Not that all those things are inherently bad, but they are just not our focus.  Instead, Impact Church is centrally focused on relationships -  with God and with people.  We are dedicated to passionately following Jesus Christ and living in community with His followers or those who are on the journey to following Him.  As disciples of Jesus Christ, we share life together and seek to share the life, love and message of Christ with others.

What We Value

Besides being passionate about relationships, we highly value scripture, transformation, and mission.  We also believe deeply in pursuing six spiritual rhythms that provide a framework for life: spending time with Christ, praying in faith, living in God’s Word, fellowshiping with His Church, witnessing to the world and ministering to others in need.

Our Plan

We take seriously Christ’s command to make new disciples and equip them to love and serve Him.  To this end, we gather on Sundays for worship and teaching in a large group setting, and during the week we disperse  into small missional communities, called Lifegroups, for more intimate fellowship. Our Lifegroups are like a spiritual family unit where people grow in their faith with the help of others. It is also here that we organize for ministries to others, and people are trained to be leaders. Our overall goal is to multiply God’s glory by multiplying leaders who can start new Lifegroups in all kinds of places to reach all kinds of people - in Montreal and beyond.  People are also given an opportunity to be personally mentored in their faith by someone in their Lifegroup.    If you are interested in any of these opportunities for spiritual growth, we invite you to contact us or visit one of our upcoming gatherings.
